I am greatly honored and humbled to serve as the first Vice Chancellor of Iqra National University. A university that was already contributing towards producing professionally qualified graduates in the specialized fields of Business Administration, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Fashion Design and Textile Design under the umbrella of Iqra University as its Peshawar Campus. Its distinctive performance during last ten years has made it eligible for issuance of NOC from Higher Education Commission Pakistan for award of charter as a full-fledged university by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). By the Grace of Almighty Allah Taala the Governor KP has amiably promulgated the “Iqra National University Ordinance VII of 2010” on November 25, 2010, thus making Iqra National University first HEC recognized, HERA registered and Provincial Government chartered university in private sector after the constitutional change of the province name from North-Western-Frontier Province (NWFP) to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
