Admissions to lqra programmes are announced before the beginning of each semester, i.e.

Spring......................... January to June
Summer....................... June to August
Fall............................. September to January

Admission with Advance Standing

Students from other recognized and reputed institutions, colleges and universities may be allowed to transfer their previous credits. Credits will only be granted for courses whose contents are equivalent to that of lqra courses. These courses must have been followed as part of a formal programme leading to a degree. lqra reserves the right to accept or refuse the grant of advance standing depending on the student’s record.

Applicants should have passed at least two subjects to qualify for admission, Admission to foreign students is offered upon submission of TOEFL & SAT scores. 3 A’s for engineering program (Physics, Chemistry, Maths)

Admission Process »


Advertisements are placed in the leading Newspapers of the country, a month before the start of admission process. Admission forms are available at the campus or can be filled online from our web site and it must be submitted during the dates specified in the advertisement. The photocopies of the following documents should be submitted along with the admission form at the time of form submission.   • Matriculation/ O’ level certificate & DMC.
  • Intermediate/ A level certificate & DMC (Part1 & 2).
  • Bachelor’s degree/ Provisional certificate & DMC.
  • Master’s Degree/ Provisional certificate & DMC.
  • Domicile Certificate.
  • 5 Passport sized photographs.
  • Character Certificate from the last institute attended.
  • Surety Certificate (Only for result awaited students).
At the time of submission of the form candidates are given the Admit Card. The time, date and venue of aptitude test is mentioned on this Admit Card along with the form number. The candidates are required to bring this card at the time of test. Entry Test Results are announced within a few of days and students are called for interviews according to the schedule announced. Successful candidates are called for the interview, which are conducted within a week of the result announcement.

Candidates are required to present the following documents in original at the time of interview:
  • Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) plus mark-sheet.

  • Intermediate or Higher Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) plus mark-sheet.

  • Combined mark-sheets for graduation degree holders. If final results are awaited,
    then all the previous mark-sheets must be provided.

  • Equivalence Certificate in case of holders of degree/certificate issued by
    non-Pakistani Universities/Boards.

Admission is confirmed only after the candidates complete the admission process, submit all the required documents and submit the fees within the announced deadlines.

AMI reserves the right to accept or refuse the grant of advance standing depending on the students record.

Credits may be awarded to applicant if they have partially completed course for the degrees applied for in another recognized institution in Pakistan or abroad.

Credits for elective courses at AMI are not awarded.

Credits are transferred only for courses where minimum grades are C or 60% and courses contents match with the prescribed course outline at AMI.
